The best time to travel in Morocco is between February and May or September and November.
However, our tours are available all year round and we are able to mix and match, to suit all requirements.
Tour Details:
Departure will be at 7:30 am for the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, via Tizi-n-Tick pass (2260 meters high) across the mountainous chain of the High Atlas offering panoramic scenery and small villages built in tiers across the mountainside. After 3 hours driving and 30 km before Ouarzazate, we arrive at the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah which is a Unesco World Heritage Site, and famous for its films shot there like “Lawrence of Arabia”, “The Sheltering Sky”, “Gladiator” and also some episodes of Game of Thrones. Jean Claude Van Damme also favoured the area for the production of some of his films.
After visiting this Kasbah, we continue to Ouarzazate to have lunch in a restaurant with a panoramic view on the Kasbah of Toaurirt the principle historical monument of the city, and then you can visit a studio or the Museum of Cinema. We will return back to Marrakech at around 7 p.m.
